Built by one student, opened to many perspectives

Cillian McCarthy is a Fifth Year student at Crana College in Buncrana, Co. Donegal, with an interest in software development and healthcare technology. Project Helix began at the intersection of those two interests — the gap between clinical complexity and software clarity — and grew into a student-led research project built around real clinician feedback rather than assumptions about what hospitals need.

PRISM, the working prototype, is being developed with the same principle throughout: listen closely, document decisions, and keep a clear line between an interesting prototype and a clinically validated tool.
