Project Helix is a student-led research and software project investigating how pancreatic cancer information can be organised into a clearer, more connected care pathway.

The problem

Pancreatic cancer care can involve information distributed across hospitals, departments and systems. Scans, blood results, histopathology, GP referrals and MDT notes may sit in different places and be accessed in different ways.

Project Helix investigates whether this information can be organised into a clearer, more connected view — one that reflects how a case is actually discussed and reviewed.
